We have plenty of luxury cars to choose from here at Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring, so we can understand when drivers have a hard time choosing the ideal vehicle for their unique needs. Two models that attract a lot of attention are the 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA. Both Mercedes-Benz models have a lot to offer and get compared often, so how do you know which one is best for you? Our experienced Mercedes-Benz dealers can help.

First, let's take a look at the similarities. Both are available with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive and come equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo inline-four engine, at least in their base models. Both of these new Mercedes-Benz cars also come equipped with useful in-car tech, from Apple CarPlay™ to available Wi-Fi hotspots. You get a full suite of Mercedes-Benz driver assistance features as well, like PRE-SAFE® tech and ATTENTION ASSIST®, which can tell when a driver is drowsy.

The differences start when you look at price, interior space, and available variants. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA is a four-door coupe, with an attractive sloping roofline and a stunning design. As a result, it offers less legroom than the 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class but more cargo space. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA is also less powerful and less expensive than the 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and offers fewer high-performance options to choose from.

If we look at their base models, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 has an output of 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, while the 2020 Mercedes-Benz C 300 produces 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. There are also three Mercedes-AMG® versions of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, with the top trim level putting out more than 500 horsepower. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA has just one Mercedes-AMG® variant.

The best way to decide between these two amazing luxury cars is a test drive! Visit our Mercedes-Benz dealership near College Park, MD and see both of these incredible vehicles for yourself!
