If you want to be a conscientious car owner, this means making sure your vehicle gets the service it requires. If you have questions about what you need and when you need it, our Mercedes-Benz service center is here to help.

What Service Does My Vehicle Need?

In order to keep your Mercedes-Benz in great condition, regular service is vital. This includes oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Your battery should also be tested periodically, and your fluids should be examined to make sure they are at the right levels.

When Do I Need Service?

In addition to the right service tasks, you also need to get them at the right times. You should have your oil changed about every six months. The same is true for rotating your tires. It’s a good idea to have your braking system and battery looked at yearly, and the fluid levels should be inspected every few months or so.

How Do I Know My Car Needs Service?

The easiest way to ensure your vehicle gets the right service at the right times is by putting it on a schedule. Otherwise, there’s a good chance that your car will let you know if it needs some maintenance. If there’s a noticeable loss of power or your fuel economy dips, this is a sign that you need to change the oil. If there’s a squeaking sound when you apply the brakes, you may need new pads. Basically, if there is anything out of the ordinary, you should have your car looked at.

If your car is acting up or it’s just due for some maintenance, make an appointment with the service center at Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring.
