No matter what Mercedes-Benz you own, you probably love driving it. It likely already has great power and acceleration, but there is almost always room for a little improvement. If you’re looking to boost what it can do, think about adding one or more of these Mercedes-Benz parts:
Cold Air Intake System
If you want to add a few horsepower to your engine, a cold air intake system will do it. While driving, this system will pull cooler outside air into your engine.
And when this denser air flows through the engine, it provides improved performance. A cold air intake system generally adds between five and ten horsepower.
Camshaft
A camshaft also plays a role when it comes to air. It utilizes cam lobes that open and close the intake and exhaust valves at the right moments in order for air to get in and out of the combustion chamber in the engine.
Camshaft improvements can add between 30 and 100 horsepower.
Turbocharger
If the engine in your car isn’t already turbocharged, you can do something about that. With a turbocharger, the air flowing into the engine gets compressed, which enables more of it to go into the cylinders, resulting in more fuel being used.
This is an excellent way to increase your horsepower by as much as 150!
