This new Mercedes-Benz SUV offers three power levels, all based on a 118-kWh battery pack that's 9.6-kWh larger than last year's battery: 

• Power level 1: single-motor rear-wheel drive (RWD). 355 horsepower, 419 lb-ft of torque, EPA-estimated electric range of 339 miles.

• Power level 2: dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD). 355 horsepower, 590 lb-ft of torque, EPA-estimated electric range of 330 miles. 

• Power level 3: dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD). 536 horsepower, 633 lb-ft of torque, EPA-estimated electric range of 330 miles. 

On top of being superbly efficient and powerful, these powertrains are also exceptionally quick. At power level 1, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV accelerates from 0 - 60 in 6.5 seconds. Power level 2 reduces the time to 5.8 seconds, while power level 3 will see you racing from zero to 60 in just 4.5 seconds. In terms of charging, DC Fast Charging can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% capacity in about 31 minutes. 

Technology

The big news on the technology front is that every 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV comes standard with the brand's terrific Hyperscreen display. This dynamic glass dashboard combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch passenger display.
